Hint: Variables store information in a program. Variables control the output of the program or what the user sees. The three types of variables include strings, integers and arrays. Strings hold groups of characters like words or phrases. For example a characters hair colour, eye colour, and name.. Integers are whole numbers which can be positive, negative or zero. For example, the size of a character, or the number of times a task is completed. Arrays group related variables together and include both strings and integers (numbers). For example, a list of names and related numeric passwords used to identify your class sign in information to Scratch.
